College Accelerated Program
The Lenape Regional High School District has recently partnered with Rowan University through a College Accelerated Program (CAP) which offers students taking Latin II Honors, Latin III Honors, Russian II Honors, Russian III Honors, and/or AP Russian Honors an opportunity to earn both high school and college credit. Your student is enrolled in at least one course which qualifies as a Rowan CAP course.
Please note: This first-time opportunity for Russian CAP credit became available on Dec. 22, 2016. The registration deadline for Russian CAP is Jan. 11th, 2017. Information is being distributed to students in their Russian classes before Winter Break.Students selecting to take CAP courses have the opportunity to earn high school credit, as well as Rowan University credit. These courses are taught during the regular school day by members of the Lenape Regional High School District staff. Students who would like to receive college credits will be required to complete the Rowan University registration process and pay Rowan tuition.
Here are a few facts to consider when deciding to register for Rowan University CAP credit:
Students need to bring a check or money order payable to Rowan University and a completed registration form (distributed by their teacher and available in the Counseling Center) to their school on the date listed below. This is the only time period for registrations for this year. Rowan University will not accept late registrations. These deadlines cannot be extended.
***If you are registering for a RCBC CAP course, you must submit a separate check made payable to Rowan College at Burlington County.***
