Teens are at the highest risk of being involved in a car crash during their first 12 to 24 months of driving. The more guided experience a young driver has, the safer that driver is on the road. GDL (Graduated Driver License) conditions and restrictions have been imposed by the State of New Jersey to reduce young drivers exposure to crash risk and save lives. Seneca High School is commited to educating young drivers and their parents about GDL laws, restrictions, use of decals, and safe driving habits. All students who drive to Seneca are expected to obey state driving laws. Checkpoints and enforcement of these laws are possible. A great resource for parents of teen drivers is located at www.njteendriving.comand a valueable resource for teen drivers is located at www.ugotbrains.com.
