LDTV Option 2 Students Earn Grand Prize in 2013 U Got Brains Competition
For the second time in three years, LDTV Option 2 students were selected as grand prize winners in the U Got Brains Champion School Safe Driving Program. The students won a driving simulator and a $10,000 grant, which the district will use to help fund post graduation events at each of the four Lenape District schools, giving students a safe place to celebrate. For 18 years, Lenape District Television has recognized the best video productions created and produced by Cherokee, Lenape, Seneca, and Shawnee high school students.
The LDTV Awards have several different categories in which students can submit their video pieces. The entries are judged by the LDTV staff and the Communication Technology teachers from all four district high schools.
