Come to AIM Tutoring!

AIM (Academics In Motion) is offered on Wednesdays after school.  It is a great program that provides students with an opportunity to improve grades and build our Cherokee community.   National Honor Society (NHS) students will volunteer to tutor other Cherokee students for one hour after school every Wednesday.  The tutoring will take place in the South Media Center from 2:35 PM – 3:35 PM, and tutors will be available for help in all subjects.  The purpose of AIM is to help all students, but especially freshmen who are coming from different middle schools and different levels of ability.

When students attend the tutoring, they will be given a pass signed with the tutor’s signature, which they can give to teachers, coaches, or advisors to show that they have attended the tutoring session.

Students are always welcome to come to AIM as a walk-in, but they can also sign up on the NHS eboard: http://www.nationalhonorsociety.cherokee.site.eboard.com .  There is an AIM student tab, and a note will be posted with the date of each session.  Students should include their name and the subject they need help in.  This way, we can ensure that a tutor will be present at the AIM session for their specific subject.
